Arts and Entertainment
||
The aim is to develop a diverse range of arts activities and events to meet the needs of local people and visitors
to the area.
We are committed to working with a range of external partners on projects which contribute to the general well being of residents. An example of this is the Gently Moving project which is a video resource pack developed by Ashfield District Council and Dance 4 to promote and support creative movement with older people.
Major Event: Ashfield Arts Festival takes place with a Mayday Celebration, including events and activities for all the family, for two weeks beginning on the Mayday Bank Holiday.
See our Annual Events and Projects from the left menu.
