The Harold Larwood Memorial Statue
||Harold Larwood's daughter, Enid Todd, and Cllr Glenis Thierry, Chairman of the Council, took part in the ceremony.
Enid Todd said: "I never saw my father bowl... Of course he was finished before I was born, but I have seen newsreels of him, and pictures and yes it looks exactly right."
The nine-foot tall bronze statue was created by Nottingham based sculptor Neale Andrew ARBS and is based on archive footage and photographs of Larwood in action.
Neale Andrew said: "I think it shows the fearsomeness of his bowling and you can imagine standing with a bat 22 yards away and - err, well, - I wouldn't like to be there!"
