Trade, Charity & Sponsorship

||
Preparations are now well underway for the 30th Ashfield Show which takes place at Sutton’s Lawn Pleasure Grounds on Saturday 9th August 2008.

This year will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Ashfield Show and will see the return of a one-off evening concert featuring an international tribute act to “Queen” followed by a spectacular grand finale firework display. Leading up to the evening concert will be a “Grease Tribute Show” whilst  the big attractions in the Main Arena will feature The ‘Conedancers’ and ‘Gerard Neprous presents The Devil’s Horsemen’ giving thrilling displays throughout the day.

In addition there will be plenty of fun for the whole family from the action packed funfair to the ever popular horticulture displays, Classic Car arena, Dance arena and much more. As in previous years, admission to the Show is FREE, but car parking charges will apply.

The trade/charity stalls will be open from 10am until 5pm, with an option available – at the discretion of the Council - for traders to extend trading hours during the evening concert.

Charities are invited to take part in a best dressed stall competition. A Cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the best dressed stall on the day.  Remember charity spaces are limited and only the best ideas will be awarded a space. If your charity wants a stall, make it as exciting and interesting as possible.  The closing date for charity applications is 30.6.08 and successful charities will be notified by 20.7.08.

As you can imagine this only gives a small ‘flavour’ of our Show but we anticipate yet another successful event for all participants.
