The LABC Partner Authority Scheme (PAS) is designed to help companies that operate in multiple locations and deal with many local authorities. The scheme enables a company or adviser to have a one-to-one working relationship with a preferred local authority for advice and plan appraisal.

It allows the company (called a Partner Company) to link with their preferred Authority (the Partner Authority) for the plans approval of all or any of its projects, so eliminating inconsistency, uncertainty and delays. There are many benefits to the client including a single point of contact, a consistent interpretation of Building Control requirements and loyal relationships; all at no extra cost. Here at Ashfield, we have dedicated officers for dealing with partners' plan checking.

Site inspections and all local statutory consultations will be carried out by the Local Authority where the project is taking place. This retains the advantage of the inspecting authority's local knowledge and expertise during the construction phase.

Registration of the Partnership is straightforward and free. All you have to do is complete a Partner Authority Scheme Application Form which will be sent to LABC on your behalf and LABC will register your application.

• Partners can use the local authority LABC partner logo on stationary and websites.
• Each partner has the opportunity to be nominated for the LABC awards for Best Partnership with a Main Contractor, Best Partnership with a Designer, Architect or Construction Consultant, Best Partnership with a Client or House builder.
• Partners will be listed on our building control website and links will be provided to partners websites.
• Competitive rates for handling your building control submissions.
