||

When contacting the Council by e-mail, please remember to include the following:

E-mail address of info@ashfield-dc.gov.uk

All e-mails received by the Council are used only for the purpose of answering your query, and are seen only by the Officers who can deal with it.

Please make sure that you are sending your query or comment to the appropriate e-mail address. Failure to do so will result in delay in replying.

We aim to reply to e-mails in the same time period as to paper-based correspondence, i.e. within 10 days, but due to the nature of e-mails we hope to respond faster.

Details from your e-mail may be input into other Council systems in order to deal with your query.

Your e-mail may be forwarded to other organisations (e.g. Nottinghamshire County Council) if they can answer your query more effectively.

Your e-mail address will not be used for the purpose of unsolicited contact by the Council, nor used on a mass e-mailing list, nor passed on to third parties.

Please remember though that no-one can guarantee the privacy of your e-mails when they are sent across the Internet. You are advised not to send details about yourself using the medium of the Internet that are of a personal nature.

Your e-mails are coverered by the Data Protection Act whilst they are in the Council's electronic systems.

Inappropriate, scurrilous, libelous, or obscene e-mails will be deleted or retained for criminal investigation.

Unsolicited e-mails from companies using any of the addresses given on this website will be deleted un-opened. Legal steps may be taken against persistant spammers.
