Number of Page Requests to the Ashfield Website

When a visitor to the ADC website wants to look at a page, their browser first checks to see if the visitor has seen that page before.

If they have, the page is shown in the browser window from information already on the visitor's PC. This is to speed up browsing.

If they haven't looked at this page before, the browser asks the ADC website for the information to show the page in the browser window.

The values graphed here are the number of times the ADC website has been asked to send a fresh page to a visitor's browser, by month.

So, if a visitor keeps requesting an unchanging webpage on the ADC website, this will not show on the graph. But if a visitor keeps wanting to look at new pages, or a page which has changed each time they visit, then that is recorded on the graph.
